Consistency

Created a component library and style guides based on USWDS standards to adhere to the 21st Century IDEA Act mandate for the agency.
Ensured consistency throughout designed and approved features.
Provided CSS guidance for the development team.

Facilitated demos to ensure all requirements and user needs were validated with the users.
Developed the Definition of Done for the UX team to ensure focus and velocity for each sprint.

Built over 400 high-fidelity screens showing interaction flows.
Pixel-perfect, responsive desktop and mobile UI designs.
Delivered clickable prototypes for client demos.
Built-in accessibility adhering to WCAG usability and 508 standards.

Mentored and supported junior UX staff to ensure successful project completion and adherence to design standards.
Created a go/no-go matrix for junior designers to encourage creativity without losing track of deliverables and unnecessary rework.
